Singer/Songwriter
Elle Bramhall spent her whole life around music. The child of musicians Doyle Bramhall II (Eric Clapton guitarist) and Susannah Melvoin (Prince singer) grandchild of renowned ‘wrecking crew’ pianist Mike Melvoin, and legendary Texas blues drummer Doyle Bramhall I, she was surrounded by it at an early age. After first picking up her dad’s guitar at 14, mastering Freddie King licks, she quickly took to exploring open tunings, traversing a path laid by the likes of Joni Mitchell and Nick Drake. With an innate ability to cut straight to the heart, and tap directly into her spirit, Elle brings into this world a sound as timeless as her heroes. It’s a purity of musical expression and identity that is truly breathtaking. Her music shines a bright light on our shared hope for the resurrection of true and pure artistry.
